It existed before JoS (in JoS it is said that it was used by some congregations in Germany (that's not where it was born)), however in many music videos they blaspheme satanic symbols by associating them with nonsense crap.

Yeah but that really isn't Satanic Music. More of an emo and darkness kind of thing. The sigil of Satan was around for a long time before the JOS I believe.
