Satanist here needs advice

Hello all! I have discovered my true "calling" aprroximately 3 years ago. Since then I have been incessantly searching, studying, learning all I could. Recently, I stumbled upon Joy Of Satan. Wow! This site certainly threw a monkeywrench (in a good way) into my whole outlook. My question/concern here is this: I consider my self an intelligent, educated, rational person. I do not come from a religious family, but we've always been labeled Catholic, though never practicing. Whatever. It is so difficult for a person like myself to "succumb" to something "other worldly". I do have to say what JoS has to say is incredibly informative and intriguing, but, can someone PLEASE understand my position?! If I have rejected spiritual Xianity all my life, how can I subscribe to spiritual Satanism? I am in need of tangibles. How can I truly experiance something valid? Some sort of proof? Please don't say faith! That word is ridiculous and old. Do you understand my conflict? I have alaways liver in the real, the actual, the tangible, all the while never rejecting the likely possibility of forces greater than my/our own. Please advise on how to take that "first" step. Thank you!

well the jos site has meditations you can do-try opening your chakras and feeling energy. Energy is the proof you need.
Also something else you can do is a standard ritual-do the ritual and ask for proof from father satan. you'll get a stronge sign from him if you open your eyes and pay attention. i hope you find what your looking for.

LOL. I'm not gonna say "faith" because this ain't xianity. I'm gonna say yoga and power meditation. These are important for opening your soul and experiencing the astral. You can feel the effects just by some months of practice, and you'll be eventually able to see the Gods astrally. You don't have to subscribe to Satanism if you haven't experienced anything, like I said this ain't xianity, it is complete free will and personal judgement. You try, you experience, and if you like you join.

I understand that many atheists and agnostics have distrust of religion or spirituality because they associate it with mainstream religions, but this really isn't the case.

Xianity and other mainstream religions aren't spiritual at all, none of xians had any real spiritual experience and they can't answer questions about their soul, how it looks like, what it consists of, details of what happens after death e.t.c. And most of them believe that power and "supernatural" things like telekinesis are bunk.

Blind faith doesn't equal spirituality or even religion. Xianity isn't even religious, is a political control program. This is obvious since it is based on obeying rules and laws demanded by humans on behalf of "god", giving money to humans, e.t.c. like most political programs, those things have nothing to do with experiencing the Spiritual. And of course, their leaders seem to be excempt from all those rules, they never follow them!!

<td val[/IMG]Spiritual proof is always subjective, by that I mean it will come from your own spiritual experiences.  This is something you and ONLY you will measure and give value to.  As the HP's always say...test everything and see for yourself. Consider the fact that we are spiritual beings having physical experiences, not the reverse! lol.   Glad you are here!   Dante

Chuck, I don't know if this will help but when I first discovered Satan--I was doing research on the Brotherhood of the Serpent and mystery schools, and I found the Joy of Satan website. Very shortly after was my birthday, and I asked Satan (prayer--talk) to give me a sign that He was God. Well, he did that alright--he sent a tornado-like wind outside (I was staying with my parents as it was Yule and I was born on Dec. 24th) that started at 3:49 a.m. on my 47th birthday--the exact time I was born! It lasted for ten minutes then stopped. Even my dad, who lives there, thought the wind was "odd". Since then, after dedicating to Satan, He has shown me MANY other miracles. I guess my advice would be--light a candle, talk to Satan, ask Him to show you the truth. You will never be able to doubt Him again...
