I did not present my evidence clearly in my last post, rereading it, the whole thing was a jumbled incoherent mess utterly below the standards such a topic deserves I didn't want to information bomb people so I left a lot of evidence out, because I did not want to overwhelm the reader, that was a mistake. So this time I am doing it correctly, as I truly think I am correct on this topic and that the Gods wish for it to be known.
In this theory I will not make any bold claims as to the identity of other Sumerian God's as just because Satan is An does not necessarily mean Satan is not other Gods in the Sumerian Pantheon and so I will remove all guesswork in this regard, I'm sticking to the facts about the Sumerian Pantheon as the Joy of Satan has made them known and presenting them properly.
Firstly we all know that the Gods of the Sumerian Pantheon are our Gods e.g., Enlil is Zeus and Inanna is Astarte and thus the Sumerian Pantheon is by definition both Satanic and Canon, the term to refer to the Sumerian Gods is Annunaki which literally translates to Children of An, and so the entire Sumerian Pantheon considered themselves children of the deity known as An, An in the language of the Sumer literally meant Heavens and was described by the priesthood of the time and inscriptions as the God of Gods, Ruler of all, Master of the Cosmos and Father of Gods, for reference read this excerpt from a prayer to Inanna composed by Enheduanna (An extremely high ranking priestess and daughter of Sargon of Akkad):
“O An, supreme sovereign of the heavens,
In your high and distant realm, you decree fates,
None can contest your word, O father of the gods…”
Here you can plainly read that An was considered not by mythos but by the clergy of the time to be Father of the Gods, whom decreed fate and was supreme ruler of the heavens in the highest of realms
As for why Satan over Zeus? This will be elaborated on at the bottom of the theory.
Another prayer by Enheduanna titled "Lady of Heaven" a hymn to Inanna has the following:
“O Lady of Heaven, resplendent light,
Righteous woman clothed in radiance,
Beloved of An, greatly exalted above all the gods…”
Further reinforcement of An's position in the heavenly order, from a highly esteemed spiritualist in fact when it comes to the Satanic Personalities topic that is being worked on that it would be great if she takes her rightful place amongst those names.
But that's just one person, esteemed or no, however there is more theological evidence as to An's importance as he was the focus of Theurgy rituals much like the Grand Ritual for instance in The Lament of Sumer and Ur a prayer made when the Sumer were suffering horribly the following invocation was made:
“O An, king of the gods, whose decree is unchanging,
May your heart be soothed, may you look upon Sumer with favor,
Restore your city, restore your people, O lord of heaven and earth…”
Now some may look at that and think that it seems very close to the description of Zeus and I would agree and I will elaborate on that later in this topic, but keep in mind this was during a period of decline in Sumer and so knowledge may have been lost, furthermore Satan and Zeus are utterly united and thus their rulership's are shared, there is no division as we can understand it between them, they are the supreme masters of this universe.
Also in terms of Hymns we have one of the oldest known hymns in the world the Kesh Temple Hymn:
“O house, great mountain of An,
Whose powers are grand powers,
Who brings forth the faithful in An’s presence…”
Once more we see the Place of An in the Sumerian Pantheon is not lightly given it is purposeful, he is not considered in the same way a force or primordial entity is considered he is presented clearly as an actual God.
But most striking is my last piece of Hymn based evidence the Hymn to Enlil:
“Great An, lord of the distant heavens,
Father of the gods, whose word is fate,
You who established Enlil’s kingship in the E-kur,
O An, sovereign of the sky, the gods bow to you…”
To me this final Hymn removes all doubt, these are not myths or stories I have scrounged carelessly these are theological writings of the greatest spiritualists of that age, clearly An is the highest authority, he who bestowed control of this world and its people to Enlil (Baal) he is also the lord of the "Distant Heavens" this contrast with Enlil who is lord of the skies and thus the closer heavens, in essence Enlil was the lord of what you could see above you but An was the lord of what lay beyond the sky itself the highest firmament or perhaps even beyond this as per the beliefs of the Sumer people, no other being save Zeus or Satan could this apply to.
But that was just the hymns that informed my theory, there is of course more the symbol of An is twined horns emerging from a crown, clearly an interpretation of the caduceus one of Satan's oldest and most well known symbols, a clear reference to the ascended serpent of Satan, furthermore according to the MUL.APIN texts the largest amount of the celestial sphere is ruled by An, Enlil likewise owns the second greatest amount of the celestial sphere, in fact the stars were said to be An's "soldiers" and that it is he that commands or at least understands their movements across the cosmos.
As for Numerology An's number was 60, and the Sumer people used a sexagesimal system a base-60 system wherein 60 was considered a perfect number and thus this was the number of An, it represented his utter dominion over the cosmic order and his control over the cosmic and heavenly balance, for all intents and purposes 60 to the Sumer was the supreme number and thus it was the number of An
and it symbolized his supreme position in the Sumerian Pantheon furthermore it denoted his role as master of time and chronology and thus An was master of time just like Satan as he is otherwise known as Saturn, Satan rules time Saturn orders time. Furthermore other Gods likewise have numbers but only An had 60 the supreme position this number in one word meant one thing Perfection or as we know it Sat.
An was also the ruler of the heavenly dome through which he maintained cosmic order and balance, every cycle, every law, every truth his to command and thus he guaranteed both human and divine life.
In my mind there are only two beings whom An could be Satan or Zeus, I however think he is Satan based off the evidence I have provided, Satan's association with Saturn is clear, and An was the God of timekeeping and chronology, Enlil is the great father of humanity, but An is the great father of the Gods, once more I think this means An is Satan.
My evidence comes from a variety of sources, direct quotations from hymns (that admittedly were translated for me), Sacred Numerology, Symbology and Theology, hopefully this time I have done my job correctly in conveying this information, I apologies for my last post, it was awful I was worried about overwhelming people, but that was foolish, this is my theory with my evidence, there is more regarding certain other aspects of the Sumerian Pantheon however that evidence is somewhat more confusing but I elaborated on it somewhat in my last post.
Thank you for reading, I would love feedback.
