Hello everyone 
I was one who delved into the world of runes long before I became a SS. In my practice of binding runes there is a step involving the creation of a Ve' or consecrated area for the ritual to take place. I have continued this practice, merging blessings of Satan, Astaroth, and the other Lords of Hell into the ritual. My friend has warned me that many of my old practices are frowned upon (such as the use of a grandr staff and sacred circles/ve's) and has told me to stop lest I offend the gods. My problem is that I have no intention of trapping the services of my Lords or any other such nonsense, I just wish to cleanse my working area and use the Grandr to easier direct my personal spiritual force, not the forces of higher beings.
Can someone please help to determine whether or not I should stop, and if so acceptable ways to achieve what I need.
