Ritual Question When Closing.

At the end of any ritual, after we have done everything, we are supposed to turn clockwise and ring the bell.

My question is, when we turn clockwise, why aren't we asked to acknowledge each of the Gods of the Four Quarters, and thank Them for coming and attending the ritual?

Granted, I never say, "Go in peace", or something like that. I just say thank you.

Why do we only turn clockwise and ring the bell, instead of being asked to thank each of the Gods? Just wondering.
