While I was reading the comments of random books on Amazon, I found these two books:
"The Great Leap-Fraud: Social Economics of Religious Terrorism, Volume 1, Judaism and Christianity": http://www.amazon.com/Great-Leap-Fraud- ... 450280552/
"The Great Leap-Fraud: Social Economics of Religious Terrorism, Volume II: Islam and Secularization": http://www.amazon.com/Great-Leap-Fraud- ... 462029744/
Author's website: http://www.ajdeus.org/
Some information on the author's credentials: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/4613856.A_J_Deus
Online copy of book 1: http://books.google.com/books?id=m-RDQf ... &q&f=false
Much of this book proves what we already know (minus the aliens bit) through a secular lens. Judging by the author's site, he might release more books in a similar vein. I know that there are a bunch of books that already debunk the three main religions, but they usually get labeled as 'conspiracy theory' to the 'normal' person's eyes. For people who are still touchy about 'conspiracy theories', I believe this would be a great eye opener for the really skeptic. Once one can piece the 'conspiracy theories' and the information in this book (judging by the reviews), it gives a REALLY solid foundation to what we know (as if it weren't already solid enough).
I'm still investigating the book for any lies that might be present. What do you guys think about this book and whether it should be added to the JoS reading list?
