No, the dedication is an oath/ritual and it's mostly for protection. It's not something you do and after that take some popcorn and step out and watch some external being does in our lives or something which gives you any instant supernatural powers or courage or self confidence or whatever. But quite the opposite. Most of Spiritual Satanism is about doing things to empower our souls. Satan in fact wants us to be independent and is a teacher who gives us knowledge and expects us to apply that knowledge. That's why after you do the dedication you must immediately begin a power meditation program and do power meditations every day. The dedication ritual by itself does nothing, it helps only as long as you do power meditations and other practices every day. And these you need to do them only after you've dedicated yourself.
I'd also want to say that Spiritual Satanism isn't really about instantly fixing the problems of your physical life, at least not directly. If that's the main reason you're interested in here then you'd better read some self-help books instead of the JoS site, since these will probably help you more in that if you're not spiritually advanced. Because the main goal here is spiritual transformation. If you become advanced you'll be able to use magick to improve his physical life too. But only as long as your focus on your spiritual transformation and you do power meditation every day.
If you do power meditation and balance your chakras you will also improve psychologically in the long term, but not instantly.
