Question about the Formal Commitment Ritual

Yeah so hey, I recently just followed a commitment type ritual for Satan, that I got from here http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpent ... TANIC.html

And to be honest it was sloppily done. But the main thing i'm worried about is since I couldn't for the life of me get a single drop of blood from my left index finger, I instead made a small cut to my left wrist and signed my name that way. Does it still count that I did the ritual like that, or was it required that I had to use my left index finger.

I got the blood out of my left foot.  The position of your "heart" is more important than the position of your cut.  I would say YES it was fine.
