Hi, I'm Italian, blonde, with blue eyes and very light skin. I'm afraid of having Jewish elements even though I jokingly asked my mother if my great-grandparents were Jewish and she assured me they weren't. I'm afraid, please help me.

My partner is Italian. But a number of years ago, he said hello to a stranger while walking on on a trail. The guy said, "f-you kike' in the most nasty way. He is a dark skinned Italian, dark eyes, large nose. His mother was from southern Italy.

The event was so unsettling, that I am concerned about someone mistaking him for a jew. A common friend is Irish and Italian, and very much looks Jewish. I mentioned something that about jews that caused him(the friend) to say I was incredibly racist. I have been more careful not to say anything like that since. Mostly because of how people seem to raise to their defense. But also I am a bit scared of how my partner was viewed.

I have also mentioned to my partner that every single person who has done something really horrible to me have all been Jewish. But even as I type I almost feel like I am being selective. But its true. All of the major hurtful things that someone has done has been by a jew. With the exception of my mother. She however was under the influence of Christianity when she did that...a jewish program. I have told my partner about that, and he just thinks I am selective in my memory.

I have a cousin who is half Jewish. I always found him incredibly arrogant, pushy and grating on my nerves. This is before I found out he was Jewish. When my aunt mentioned his father being Jewish, (at some family gathering)I thought it was a joke, everyone was laughing. I didn't quite understand the laughter.

But he seems true to form. Also he has sought out a very high paying job, where he does very little. I should do the same, but as of yet I don't know how to do that.
