Would it help to do a cabalistic square of jupiter to correct the effects of retro jupiter in my birth chart?

Which one should I do and what kind of affirmation should I use?

Jupiter retrograde is not inherently a bad thing. The affirmation depends on what you want to correct, since you didn't specify anything wrong, there's no way for us to say what it is.

I am not sure if there is a negative condition created by your Jupiter, but you can simply affirm to improve your natal Jupiter.

Jupiter enters Gemini either today or tomorrow and wont be in Cancer (its Exalted sign) until the Middle of 2025.

I would say its best to start using it before it enters Gemini but by the time this post gets through it'll probably be too late for anyone to start.
