This is just my lil' thread acknowledging our progress on RTRs and blunting the blows of current events.
I have a few interesting somewhat-positive tidbits I noticed and I intuitively feel like aren't just co-incidence myself.
Seeing Russian tanks stranded randomly on the side of the road was strange enough to make me wonder if the Gods were already working with (against? both?) the Russians even in the beginning. Now about a week later, they are sabotaging their tanks themselves and surrendering. I think the whole world knows many Russians are just following orders and do not want this war.
I remember hearing of peace talks a few days ago. It does not seem like it was successful, but the fact that the opportunity was there, or happening even, took me aback. Whether this means something is another matter entirely. Still...
Now they are looking into Russian war crimes, as shown in Fancy's thread here: https://ancient-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=68699&sid=a2eb2ebc994dc05f09486f215021774c. Children and civillians are dead, justice needs to be served. Again we will see if this truly means anything, but in my opinion, this is a positive step here.
Now I know this might seem contraversial, this is not entirely positive, but the ousting and ostracising of Russia in many aspects may make the people angry enough to say, enough is enough. The reasoning and the opportunity is arising. Unfortunately this means people will suffer unneccissarily, but perhaps this is the only path to progress, and this may be a pretty big example for the rest of us.
Anyway that's it. If you notice anything positive too, or have anything to say, please feel free to speak your mind.
