Performing the Dedication Ritual Soon. Any Advice?

I know the Ritual is posted on the website, but I want people's experiences and their advice from first hand experience. When is the best time to do it? Should I be wearing anything special? How do I know if it went through? And do I have to remain absolutely serious during the whole ritual because I sometimes have problems with maintaining a serious attitude. I don't try to be rude, but sometimes I'll laugh out of nervousness.

I want everything to go as perfect as humanly possible. I actually came to this decision now and I want to make sure that everything is followed exactly so I don't mess anything up.

And how did you all feel afterward? Was it exciting? I'm so curious! I'm excited about doing this.

Know that this dedication is a real one. Everyone's experience is different as everyone is different. How do YOU feel you should dress or when do YOU feel is the best time to perform the dedication? Try to wear all black clothing or being nude. Your choice.

Make sure the moon isn't void. There is a useful program called Lunabar that will tell u this and more.

You don't have to be serious or nervous. Absolutely need to be. Stay calm and take ur time. Read through the instructions or have a copy of them, so u can do it step-by-step.

Using a razor is the best way to draw blood needed with little or no pain.

I did my dedication in the bathroom, while the shower was running, as my family was there.

Everyone feels different after doing a dedication. I don't want to tell you what you should be feeling.

Try to wear as much black as possable for the ritual, nothing special. But do it at night since your entergies are different at night. Then prick or slice your left index finger and take a pen tip and sign your name with as much blood as possable, it dosent matter how much but as much as possable, and right below the prayer is where you should put it. Then fold it up and burn it in the candle, this is when you should stay and meditate or say a prayer of thankfulness to our father, after that you can clean everything up and begin a new life... For me it felt like a burden was lifted off my shoulders...

here is some very helpful useful advice

when ya prick your finger

if ya cant do it with needle and blade

use a diabettes tool it will prick your finger faster then the brain can notice
