Another more interesting way to induce a synesthesia vision is to remember having synesthesia experiences, this can strengthen your existing synesthesia.
I remembered when I had a Synesthesia experience looking at the JOS website logo, the blue reversed pentagram and the red writing the Joy of Satan
I visualized the red writing turning into yellow golden and it made long lasting synesthesia visions like short video clips, and I was inducing it even with my eyes open, however this was at a time when my synesthesia was very active and I was using it constantly.

This is not a good thing. Some meaningless hallucinations that are not connected to truth or reality in any way are not helpful or good. You are working only to confuse yourself, and this is not any form of psychic sense or spiritual advancement.

Similar to how we say that using drugs is an absolutely horrible idea. Certain drugs cause hallucinations, and ignorant people assume that these hallucinations have any kind of meaning, when really they are worthless and not connected to reality.

Synesthesia is a system of mental associations where the person sees unrelated things as being together across multiple senses. Like number 3 is always associated with the color green, and always comes with hearing the music note A4 at 440Hz, and maybe also has a specific taste or smell also connected to it. It is a whole system of associations where everything is always connected to specific other things. It is kind of like OCD. I knew somebody who had this problem and explained it to me this way. Every letter has a number, a color, a taste, and a sound connected with it. What I am describing, it would not be a good idea to try to create these false connections.

Work with opening all the chakras. Open the minor chakras for clairaudience and clairvoyance. Try to practice with opening the psychic senses. Work with the runes and the Gods rituals. There are healthy ways to activate psychic senses and does not include building fake OCD mental associations. Synesthesia is not really an example of psychic senses working, but it can sometimes be a perfect example of a problem where some sense is partially activated but in a blocked, suppressed, and malformed way.
