Opening Third Eye

I'm currently trying to open my third eye.After i finished the vibration part i meditated on my third eye and waited to see what colours and shapes would come up, like the JoS site said. I saw yellow and green swirls form into a snake with a dragon-like head, which circled around and bit it's tail. It span around in a circle for about 10 seconds before letting go and floating off. I know that this sounds like Oroboras, and I was wondering what significance this might have.

Today, while I was opening my third eye my dad ran upstairs and made a racket causing me to lose concentration and become angry/frustrated right in the middle of meditating. I felt the pressure in my forehead while meditating on my third eye which was mentioned as a good sign but Im still worried that my complete loss of concentration due to my father may have hindered me in some way from opening my third eye.

Do you think I have anything to worry about and if so should I redo the exersize?

Breathe in through your nose and on the exhale vibrate "Thoth." Thoth is the Moon God and the ruler of the 6th chakra and third eye is the moon. Release your breath slowly through your mouth and vibrate:
TH-TH-TH-TH-OH-OH-OH-TH-TH-TH in one long exhale (vibrate the sound one time per exhale, as with the Yogic "humming breath").
Now this is important. Keep the TH and OH sounding at the same time. You should be making the TH sound all throughout the exhale." Now first of all, i can't feel the small electrical shock when doing the hand position, but i do it to the best of my ability. What i'm mostly confused with is how to vibrate the sound while making both the "OH" sound and the "TH" sound at the same time? Perhaps someone has a better way to put it so that I can fully grasp the concept, as i have never made use of vibrating sounds like this before. After the four days, i can kind of feel a pressure where I should feel it, though it's even more so when i have my glasses on so not sure if it was the third eye doing it or the Glasses at this point.

To vibrate TH and OH together, vibrate "TH" and round your lips when doing so, it will create an "OH" sound too.

<td val[/IMG]Yes!I had the same problem starting out.Maxine has cd's you can buy from the online book store,on the JoS site,that helped me big time.It helps to here her vibrate the openings herself.Her cd's on vibrating thr Runes has helped me too.What I did was put them on my ipod,and vibrated along with Maxine,to be sure to get the pitch and the sound right.About a week of doing it,and one morning I had experienced for the first time in my life,that bliss that the Yogi's talk about.It was indescribably wonderful.

Going to school fully funded by the military Post 9/11 GIbill, and of course, i only get paid my living allowances when attending school full time. Winter semester was cut completely so i've gone 3 months with no income .

I love following the vibrations along with Maxine's voice. I'm glad I purchased the Runic Kabbalah and Satanic Kabbalah books and CDs. But she doesn't explicitly show via example how to vibrate THOTH in these CDs.

<td val[/IMG]The openings cd is in the 1st volume of power meditations.It comes in the back of the 1st volume power meditation book.I think you have to order both to get it.Like 15 bucks I think.

That's fine. Despite how unsure I am about doing it correctly, i think I am in fact doing it right. As of now, i'm done with the initial 4 day consecutive meditation on beginning the opening and when concentrating on it i can actually feel a throbbing, tightening sensation there as well as a tingling energy type feeling. on top of that, on certain times my entire head tends to throb in a relaxed state of concentrating so unless I'm wrong in assuming this, then I've gotten it done correctly. I've also, since then, gone through the throat, heart, solar plexus, and sacral chakras. Not entirely sure if i did those correctly, but i did feel a sort of energy in them at the time. Heh, guess i'm not sure about a lot, i realize, but it's not going to stop me from trying at least.

Why is there a need to show might I ask. The sounds and examples on the cd is very helpful, no need for visulization. It's an audio sermon not a video sermon. Are you talking about the mudras, the positions of the hands. These help but is not really necessary so dont stress yourself out.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, still rather new at this after all. However, I have been following the directions on Opening the third eye on the JOS website, and i am a bit confused on the process. It states "3. Breathe in through your nose and on the exhale vibrate "Thoth." Thoth is the Moon God and the ruler of the 6th chakra and third eye is the moon. Release your breath slowly through your mouth and vibrate:



TH-TH-TH-TH-OH-OH-OH-TH-TH-TH in one long exhale (vibrate the sound one time per exhale, as with the Yogic "humming breath").



Now this is important. Keep the TH and OH sounding at the same time. You should be making the TH sound all throughout the exhale." Now first of all, i can't feel the small electrical shock when doing the hand position, but i do it to the best of my ability. What i'm mostly confused with is how to vibrate the sound while making both the "OH" sound and the "TH" sound at the same time? Perhaps someone has a better way to put it so that I can fully grasp the concept, as i have never made use of vibrating sounds like this before. After the four days, i can kind of feel a pressure where I should feel it, though it's even more so when i have my glasses on so not sure if it was the third eye doing it or the Glasses at this point.

The openings cd is in the 1st volume of power meditations.It comes in the back of the 1st volume power meditation book.I think you have to order both to get it.Like 15 bucks I think.

I love following the vibrations along with Maxine's voice. I'm glad I purchased the Runic Kabbalah and Satanic Kabbalah books and CDs. But she doesn't explicitly show via example how to vibrate THOTH in these CDs.

Going to school fully funded by the military Post 9/11 GIbill, and of course, i only get paid my living allowances when attending school full time. Winter semester was cut completely so i've gone 3 months with no income .

Yes!I had the same problem starting out.Maxine has cd's you can buy from the online book store,on the JoS site,that helped me big time.It helps to here her vibrate the openings herself.Her cd's on vibrating thr Runes has helped me too.What I did was put them on my ipod,and vibrated along with Maxine,to be sure to get the pitch and the sound right.About a week of doing it,and one morning I had experienced for the first time in my life,that bliss that the Yogi's talk about.It was indescribably wonderful.
