Obliterating your Saturn + 15° Leo

Could an affirmation:
"I'm totally and completely free from all negative aspects of my natal/birth chart in a positive and healthy way for me"
work, if most of your problems are minor things?
I checked as much as I was able to since I'm a noob at astrology, but the most worrying aspects are mostly canceled out by stronger planets, like the chart ruler... Well there is Mars is 15° of Leo, but the houses with Aries and Scorpio on the cusps are empty/these signs only cover a part of the house and the planets inside are in the other sign...

I think it was lydia that mentioned doing a working like this and she said it wasn't really effective in solving her issues, but suggested that it may have loosened the nuts & bolts, so to speak.

That isn't to say that it won't be effective for you. I say try it and find out, maybe a lazy working like this will turn out well for you in your specific situation and circumstances. But I also think that figuring out exactly what the issues are and doing specific, focused workings to solve them is really the way to go, because "negative aspects" can refer to anything.

Not everything in your chart is going to work harmoniously 100% of the time, and even if something seems like a positive it must also have a drawback. So it may be that, even if you have some specific issues in mind, your energies will be diluted in ways that you haven't considered and you'll end up spinning your wheels with a generalized working like this.

If you find that your specific issues are related in some way then you can formulate a working to tackle that particular avenue of your life, so you could get away with a generalized working while being specific enough that you're not spreading yourself too thinly. Ultimately, this is just my opinion and only you can find out what works for you with your situation and your needs.
