Not Sure whats happening

I know it means something but im not sure what the other day i kept seeing the same crow. It just sat on a mailbox on my road for atleast an hour or two and it was being attacked by smaller birds but it didnt fly off it just swatted them off like flies and today i walked right infront of this bigass reddish snake and it didnt get frightened like they usually do it just stared. I've been waiting for a familiar for a little while now it could have something to do with that. any advise¿¿

it does sound like a familiar. if you can get the crow to come to you then he/it might be a familiar. I hope he is a familiar-i'm not sure about the snake but if it acts nice around you then it could be a familiar as well.
