Whoa hold up, am I understanding your post? Are you saying someone's been charging money for initiation? I seriously hope you have not paid anyone. That reeks of a con job especially when that person vanishes after payment. The only money here that changes hands is when we voluntarily donate to JoS, at least far as I know. If anyone suggests or demands you pay them for so-called initiation then I'd suggest you cut off all contact and post here with any information regarding them. I just can't see a true dedicated SS doing this but who knows. I'd also ask Satan and your GD to help you see through those lies/cons.
