Hi I have only recently (last two days) come upon this information which i might add as soon as i read I totally agreed with. I have studied much about the Sumerian/Mesopotamian beliefs and Gods through the various translations available. Although they differ the main context of what they say is very similar (I will add here I thought that Enlil was a bad guy from these teachings but have realized that to be false, apologies to Enlil). I have every since i was young known the bible and all religion was wrong, how could a benevolent, kind, just, and all knowing God keep us so uniformed we need to be absolute subservient to enjoy life and those that don't are destroyed or torture by the said God. To me the father son relationship involves the father teaching the son for the purpose of seeing the son become as the father other religions do not teach this (the ones i have studied anyway). From the first time I studied the Sumerian history I knew the God i wanted to follow was EnKi, everything about him and his exploits made perfect sense and seemed to be the most logical reason behind the creation of man. (I hope it is not offensive to refer to Satan and the Demons by their Sumerian names, I personally think this is more respectful for me to do. Just a me thing.) I do have some questions though and will add I have not yet dedicated myself but have started the meditation training two days ago, i have meditated before but not with spiritual focus like those found in these teachings.
Q 1: Much of what i have read warns against physical and mental weakness when practicing these rituals in the names of EnKi, I have two such illnesses one affecting my physical being and the other my mental being, My questions is does this affect my ability to follow the path of EnKi and if I refrain from practicing magik does that lessen my worth as a Godhead.
Q: 2 I have had many visits from shadow like creatures i can see in the corner of my eye and can feel their presence on two instances I have heard a voice associated with a "tap on the shoulder feeling". I have experienced this since I was about 6 yo and it has always confused me and has generated a great deal of fear from the unknown. I have tried confronting these beings but the more i try to the more fear i can feel. (this is not so much a question but more a request for guidance)
