Hi everybody,

I am just curious where you guys got your sterile needles before you did the ritual? You know, the needle to prick you finger to write your name in blood.

I guess you could use the back of a safety pin or a pin that you wear on your shirt. Or maybe fabric needles.

Anyone?

You can use any needle that works for you. The point is to manage and get some blood out. How you manage to do this is up to you.

If there are drug stores near you, you can buy diabetic lancets and the lancing device for like $12. I used that because it was quick and virtually painless.

It doesn't even need to be a needle. You could use a sterile razor blade if it easier to do so.

I used a sewing needle. Cleaned it with alcohol first before pricking myself. Speed is the key if you want less pain, just don't go with so much force that you go too deep. It's not that bad.
