also fyi i used blank paper like the kind used for copiers in office buildings that you can buy in any grocery store (that where i got it from). it may be just me but i did not want any lines on the paper (lined paper) as all i wanted on it was the contract and my bloody name (literally bloody name lolz and true)

errrrr i not sure if those colors will work or not. i mean i only dedicated myself December 19th of last month and all but i think blue, black, and red are the recommended colors. if you don't have those id save up for them if necessary.
keep in mind its all new to me then like it is now so best i could recommend from my understanding is to do what it says on the JOS website and go from there.
i had to hold my dedication off for awhile just to get the right color candles but it was worth it. this is mostly because i figured the odds where that if i did it according to the JOS site then most likely it would work. and it did just so you know.
plus people here tell me red, blue, and black i think they said where fathers colors. this i believe is why these colors hold importance.
again this is just my understanding of the situation based on my own experience.
also i used a thumbtack by the way as i did not have a needle and for some odd reason i felt more at ease poking myself than cutting myself on my left hand pointer finger. it hurt like heck but poked myself enough times to the point where i could squeeze my left hand pointer finger and get blood out.
Also if you do not have a dry pen just FYI i used a feather from what i believe was a crow or black bird of some kind. then i dipped it on my bloody finger and wrote my name down on the paper that way. seriously it works like that. i mean hey people before pens and pencils i am pretty sure used feathers/quills for writing i think.
