Hello Debbie, jene here. I don't know how much you have studied the links of the Joy of Satan homepage, but that is the best place to begin your quest. Before I go any further, know that we are "Spiritual Satanists," & that the other satanic groups out in the world are not affiliated with us, nor are they of Satan. We do not proselytize; thus, if you decide that this Faith is for you, then you must come to our Creator willingly. (Forgive me if I'm telling you things you may already know--I'm just laying out the usual procedures for those who are new.) After studying the website thoroughly, & searching your soul without any doubts, proceeding usually means "formally dedicating" yourself to Father Satan. (See JoS homepage--dedicating.) Then, a must is to find out who is your Guardian Demon(ess) & establish a working relationship with him/her for guidance & protection. (JoS homepage--Demons) If/when you dedicate, you should find & summon your Guardian as
soon as reasonable! (A week after I dedicated, I learned who my Guardian was & I performed the summoning ritual. My Demoness had my back from the "get go," likely beforehand; but once we dedicate, that Guardian link should be secured--as the enemy will try & deter you or attempt harm. I speak from experience. Once I had just started a meditation & I suddenly felt a very negative & disturbing presence--a grey trying to invade "my space!" All I could think of was to blurt out the name of my Guardian, and the intruder vanished! On another occasion, my Guardian intervened in a life threatening situation. Thus, I wouldn't be caught dead without my GD--literally!!) Satan & the Demons/esses are always there to help, especially in the beginning, but expect us to begin working on developing our souls toward the godhood (i.e. Godhead). This means to begin a "Power Meditation" regimen on a daily basis. The "Hooded Cobra 40 Day Self-Empowerment pdf" program and/or
the "HellsArmy six month pdf" program are both excellent. (Both can be found in Satan's Library. Go to JoS homepage, click on "links," click on "Satan's Library" & scroll for each download.) I've done both & are preliminaries for more advanced meditations. As you develop, you will be led to other particular areas of interests. Many Spirtual Satanists meditate 30 mins/an hour & study the same everyday, if not more. The main things are quality (vs quantity) & being consistent! Sorry to be soooe long with this--just trying to cover the basics as at first glance of the JoS website & the meditation page, it can appear overwhelming! The reason as to why you may not be feeling any progress with your meditation thus far could be that your chakras may not be properly opened yet. One of the mentioned meditation programs will address that, especially if there are things you are attempting "out of order!" I hope this helps & may Father's Blessings be with you upon
