Mithra

I was contacted by a being that says Mithra as a name.

I presume this is an angelic being, but reading more on Mithra and Zorastra I am a bit confused.

Anyone have thoughts or feelings on this..."mithra" and Zorastranism?

To my knowledge, Mithra is one of our Pagan Gods. If you go to Azazel's page, you will find a picture of him with little horns and a halo/sun. This looks an awful lot like Mithra. Mithra was one of the Gods that the Jews stole from the most to create the Nazarene and Catholicism/Christianity.

I've always understood Mithra the same way HP Jake just wrote about him below. He was also revered by the vast majority of pre-xian Romans if I remember correctly from my readings.
