Lucid dreaming - missing my mind's guidance

I want to start training to lucid dream for a few reasons but one thing I'm concerned about is my mind often tells me with my dreams what I need to do in my life, sometimes even before hand like recently I dreamed of obtaining something from a friend I haven't spoken to for months and a few days later she phones and offers it. Anyway my point is, I'm worried I take control of a dream and miss my mind's guidance by changing the dream. I'm gonna just use an affirmation every night so should I just include that these dreams may not be become lucid, or what? Is this even a concern? Maybe my mind will automatically disallow me to become consciouss in such dreams. This seems like a very basic thing, I'm asking to be 100% certain coz these dreams are invaluable and I do NOT want to lose out on them.

well lucid dreaming in controlling your dreams so if you want these dreams that you are having to keep happening then you shouldnt try to have lucid dreams. But if you want a good way to achieve lucid dreaming is to before you go to sleep put the tip of you finger where your third eye is and then look up at your finger for about 5 minutes. But dont hurt your eyes. then go to sleep and you will have some control of what goes on.

Nice thing that this was mentioned because I had some dreams earlier. Whats the fact with mine is that at certain times, I see events that will happen and at some other times, I see the opposite or nothing related to what will happen. You can use affirmations and the rune Dagaz to get the right information from your dreams.

I'll try that technique, thanks! As for what you said before that I don't agree at all. The dreams I mentioned, are a different type to my others. My mind knows the difference, obviously, as it creates them for me. I just need to know how to ensure I won't interfere with those without realizing it.

This is somewhat related to this topic as well, but what should you take from a dream you feel is very important; I mean like right after you wake up, you feel rejuvenation, puzzled, or just awed at the events that transpired. Should I write down the details and analzye if this ever happens?

I often dream of random, and for all I can always tell meaningless, little moments before they happen and exactly as they do to every detail. It's always things that happen at night when I'm with friends and when that happens I know that the night will turn out well. But that one I mentioned about that girl I'm friends with was really odd and vivid and said loads about what it was about. But this is all off my topic of "safely" lucid dreaming so I'll stop rambling. Cool info on the Rune I didn't know that. I can always decipher those dreams clearly but still good to know.

If it feels like you should then you should. You may find one dream reveals alot, or that over time you piece together bits from many dreams and it tells you something. Follow your gut, use your intuition...
