Kundalini???

On the JOS site, under "Meditations", then click "about the mind" then "more important information concerning meditation"- there are a list of signs that your Kundalini is about to come up. 1) a warm feeling in the base of your tailbone 2) a pulling up sensation in that area
Further down the page, after a warning of blocked chakras, it lists signs of one being blocked as: extreme heat and/or pain in the blocked chakra.
Now I've been experiencing these discomforts for some time in my rectal area as it states, so how do I know if its my kundalini coming up or is my base chakra blocked, OR, perhaps its just nerve damage from a broken back? Not sure of the last since I broke it on 8/09, and only started experiencing this for the past few months. If anyone has any idea what could be going on, or has any advise on anything here, I very much like to hear your thoughts, thank you!

So is goodhood achieved when the kudalini ascends? Or does that just put you a step closer?
