Greetings everyone
I just wanted to share something I realized while I was reading through the information on the JoS website, specifically the page about Chakra Alignment.
I quote from the site: "As we know, the crown chakra is known as the 'thousand petal lotus.'"
Now I didn't know this until I read this (about an hour ago), but it was such a eureka moment. Give me a moment to tell you why it is so amazing for me:
About 2 years ago, I started doing a bit of meditation, which I sadly never kept up, as I was a xian at the time and confused as to what the Truth is. Anyways, while doing a breathing meditation while walking one day, I 'saw', in my mind, a bright purple and green flower with lots of petals. Until today, I had no idea whatsoever that it was more than a figment of my imagination! I merely though it was a cool thing to think about while meditating.
When I focus on drawing energy up to my crown chakra, I sometimes experience pressure at the top of my head, and this happens more often when I visualize the flower.
I've rambled enough, but I just felt like sharing this with my new family. Maybe it will encourage someone who feels like he/she has never experienced something spiritual.
Thank you very much to whoever wrote the Truth on the website, and to the ones who revealed it to them.
