i let myself down through the unrighteous drug abuse. ill be on a straight and rightful path, but get completly overwhelmed with temptation and lack the strength to follow through with what is just. i then feel the empty regret and inability to enter the astral ability ive recently tried to hone. ive recently experienced a beautiful dream while sleeping only to awake to voices in my head, something ive never experienced. it was at 3am on tuesday. the vioces were incoherent and not malicious or nice. much like something from the movie harry potter dealing with the basilisk. can someone help enlighten me or is this my sole purpose to figure out on my own?

Listen, if you keep a Hatha Yoga routine and do lots of void, the addiction will disappear on it's own.

Satanic Void Meditation

Hatha (Physical) Yoga
About the dream and voices, it's not uncommon, on the contrary, it's a really good sign about your astral senses and spiritual advancement, you should start to hear even more voices the more your astral hearing opens.

Coming from a previous drug addict, I relate to you with feeling a lack of strength, but it is up to you to find  your will. The power you hold inside of yourself is much greater than anything you can imagine but you have to find it on your own. Father guides us and your GD will help you, learn to trust in yourself and just let it happen. Something I recently learned is that yes we make mistakes, and we have 2 choices of what we do with those mistakes. We can dwell on them and feel sorrow, regret, and shame. Or...We can learn so that the next time you feel that temptation, you can find the strength within yourself to rise above.
Try not to focus on the fact that "I failed once again". Instead, try looking at it as a new start, a fresh beginning.
I read a devotional awhile back on here from an SS that truly inspired me. One phrase in particular shook me enough to bring me out of my dependency of drugs.
"Either everything in my life changes, or nothing does."
It woke me up to the fact that, if we want our lives to change fully and for the better, then we have to evaluate everything in our lives that are making us continue down the path we no longer want to be on.

As for the voices, they could be a number of things. Dont necessarily give them to much attention as this could be anything from enemy attacks to your psychic hearing awakening. My advice would be to practice Void Meditation twice a day for at least 2-5 minutes per session. Do this until you have mastered quieting everything in your mind and learning to block outside influences.

Hope this helps!
