Is it possible to remain in a long-term/permanent trance state?

I sat in the shower for 3 hours and turned my brain off and just observed everything in slow motion, and continued to do so throughout the day.

The whole world appears more alive, and every human faculty became greatly improved to a certain tranquility.

Is it possible to stay in this state forever? Does that happen when you've meditated long enough?

This is not healthy; trance is for meditation. When one performs physical activities such as workout or manual labor, one should remain active and disconnect from the astral plane. Wanting to always remain in a trance state can indicate a lack of grounding.

I'm not sure if it was a very light trance, but more like hyper awareness of my surroundings and general intuition?

Ironically, it's the first time in my life I've felt grounded. Normally, I don't feel as though I have a fully corporeal form. Unless I choose to? For example my physical sensations when eating are pretty numb and I won't taste it unless I concentrate on the food. But I'm not clumsy, actually very physically adept when I need to be e.g., sports.

Maybe I was in the afterlife for a very long time and just got used to not having a body, lol.

But why is it bad to remain in astral? Can't you do both, of one foot in the material one foot in the astral?

Ok more accurately, I have the words now, it was more like I was in a "flow state" by default, which was slightly hypnotic

Is it possible to be permanently in that state via meditation? Or is it bad?

This would be bad. We are not designed to remain permanently or for a very long period of time in a lower trance state.

Think of this like the stepping up and stepping down of voltages and how this switches on and off.

I can think of alot of reasons a trance state would be terrible to be left in permanently. It may feel nice initially, but this would be a horrible experience.

Hmm, what would happen if you kept trying to induce trance-like states?

What if you were just like that at home so no worries of outside interference?

I think it's addicting, and I feel like I'm operating at my full potential.

It's extremely light, not a real trance. But like a sort of tranquility and I feel like I'm blended together with my surroundings. All my furnite and everything felt alive, it was cool. I touched my Tarot card and it felt like I was caressing the energy itself, like it was organic (very subtly tho)

It's fine to master this, just not to stay in this state constantly.

Just continue to practice but just be mindful and don't do this all the time and you'll be fine.

1st exercise where you try to touch your feet and bend in hathayoga pdf you get grounding and energy flow is in lower legs, and behind. Working on lower chara is also necessary full chakra meditation is a must if you have opened all your chakras it balances everything it’s necessary for long term growth i have learned constantly working on higher chakras can be enticing and yes they are more entertaining and are connected to astral but can lead to lack of grounding and you’ll receive a pullback from people who’re more grounded.
