Make sure your device is verified and supports encryption.

• Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Device Settings.
• Ensure your current device is listed as verified.
• If it's not verified, verify it using another logged-in device or backup security key/phrase.

• Settings > Security & Privacy, and verify their session/device.
• They may need to verify their new device or cross-sign it using an old device.

or

• Go to the room's settings.
• Check if End-to-End Encryption is enabled.
• If not, only admins can enable it, and it can’t be turned off again after being enabled.

It makes sense for there to be a common language used in this. Even nations that have completely different language systems uses English when speaking to one another as the common language to use.

Outreach has simple tasks for new people so it's my opinion if you're used to using a translator then that should be enough to understand the duties given. Make sure to speak up in there if you dont understand something.
