I never quite expected that I would be considering this. When I was child, I always went to church with my family. I said my prayers, followed the Commandments, and I tried to be a good little girl in order to make God happy. I had so many questions towards Christianity and yet no one seemed to want to answer them for me.
A few years ago I began to doubt. Then I was asked a question from a close friend of mine, who was an Atheist. "What are you going to do if Science finds out that there is no afterlife?" To be honest, the thought terrified me. I prayed and prayed and the fear never eased up. Then one day, I woke up and stopped believing in God. Weird to admit, but I think it was one of the most freeing days I've ever had in my life.
Ever since then, I have been without a religion, yet I feel as if there has to be something out there. I guess one would be safe to call me "Lost". I found the Joy of Satan website after a very strange dream I had and now I've become very interested in Spiritual Satanism.
Right now I'm just trying to say "Hello" and introduce myself. I'd love to see the insights of Satanism other than the ones I've been told by the Church and my parents. I feel very much drawn to this for some reason and I'd like to see if maybe it's a calling.
