I planned to dedicate to Satan

Ive been doing research on JoS since Im 16. But then I stopped. Now, Im 20 and had been research for 2 months already. But where Im from English is not native language. I taught myself an English so hard so, I can understand it. About 70% that I understand now. I planned to do the dedication ritual on next Monday at night in my room, but Im just not sure that what I understand is the correct way to preform a rituals. Can anyone, pls help me about it? (Maybe more details)

It says Get a clean piece of paper and write this prayer on it.

Then make a small cut on your finger and take the blood from your finger and sign your name in blood on the same piece of paper that you wrote the prayer on.

After that, read the prayer out loud or in your head and then burn the piece of paper with fire. After that, say,”so mote it be” and “Hail Satan”. 
When you cut your finger for the prayer make sure you cut yourself with something clean. All that you need to do is make a small cut on your finger and take the blood from the cut and sign the paper with it.
Also when you light the piece of paper on fire make sure to do this safely as well.
It is respectful if you take a shower before doing this ritual.
