I don't think I can meditate...

I have always given people shit for meditating until I became a satanist and now that I know I have to I don't think I can. I was a skeptic for all my life until like a week ago. To get back to what I'm getting at, I don't think I can meditate because my mind says it's dumb but my body and soul knows I should. My mind keeps me from concentrating. I don't know what to do....

<td val[/IMG]Ohhh its alot easyer than u think, i use to say the same but my Satanic soul sister taught me how..    Before you do this meditation  make sure your 100% relaxed and It should be done in a closed room with the door shut Picture the Sun in Space burning also picture heat Now picture your self on the Sun looking down at the world and the universe... Picture your self looking at Earth picture your self looking at the house that ur in on earth all the way down to the room u are in until u can imagine seeing your self doing this meditation Now picture the energy from the sun filling the entire room you are in, picture the energy slipping down the the floor across all walls, onto the floor.. Now!!.. Picture the light from the sun and how bright it is now picture the light dripping down from the walls on to the floor picture the light n the room touching your toes...now make sure ur eyes are closed imagine as if u were sucking all the energy filling up your room, gowing through ur body and hiotting your charkas, Now as if u were sucking the energy and light through a straw  picture the suns light  sucking up through your "toes to your head" and once u imagine the light and energy about to hit ur skull imagine it being the suns brightest light and pretend u are holding it in your skull, try to hold ur breath for at least 8 seconds then let ur breathe go and picture the energy deflating ur body and then you have learnd to meditatate

you should first try to banish the thoughts and worries of the day
just clear your mind, i think that should help.
i had the same problems but by clearing the mind i solved it pretty easy

I can really say this for a fact. I may not be very good at it myself but i think your letting your head get in the way of what you truly know. I think you need to find a way to calm your mind and let your spirit take over....

try void meditation. just think of nothing. see how long u can keep ur mind completely blank. when i go into a trance i do the latter technique, but i also imagine that im diving out of a plane or falling into a pit. try to keep the falling constant. chanting helps sometimes too.

if you cant do that, try void meditation. think of nothig. blank mind. look for concentration and relaxation exersises on the internet.
