How come other religions which predated xianity by thousands of years stole things from xianity and judaism which came later? Seriously, your mother either is too brainwashed or has run of excuses.

And if you read exposing christianity you would know that the buybull texts are stolen, from their similarities and paralels with texts which predate the buybull.

You're free to read other authors such as Acharya S and the sources which are listed in the bottom of the articles from the exposing christianity site. All of them say the same thing, that the buybull is stolen from Pagan texts PREDATING it (the keyword here is PREDATING).

The buybull is a relatively new text, there have been Sumerian, Egyptian and other writings predating it in some cases by over 2000 years.

I am very interested in philosophy there is a vast amount of literature condemning and falsifying the 3-O( omnipotent, omni-benevolent, omniscient), god that the Christians so love to believe in. One of my favorite stories is "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas" by Ursula k. leGuin it outlines one of the many problems of suffering, and the 3-O god. Well as far as I know, from all my reading, if you really wish to for things to use as proof against the bible for your next argument with your mother use all the contradictions and similarities that can be found throughout that load of shit. Some really great examples are:

1) have your mother read the entire passage that the bible has on love: how it's suppose to be blind, pure, etc... then find the passage that puts "laws" on love saying that it's wrong to love thy neighbor's wife, to love another man, etc... then ask her "If love if suppose to be blind and pure, how is it suddenly wrong to fall in love with any of these? Why is love wrong if it's another of the same gender? Does this not contradict how love is suppose to be blind and pure, etc...?"

2) Find the story of david and goliath. Then find the story of Thor/Zeus and the Titans where it talks of of Thor/Zeus killing on of the titan generals with a mighty blow to the head. Let her read these and point out all the similarities

3) The bible talks of all kinds of "unspeakable" horrors that Lucifer/Satan is capable of, how he demands sacrifices, how he kills unjustly, how he is the "god of lies," etc...
Have her go through the bible, or you go through with her, and find all the passages you can that show examples of this. You will find that in all of them the christian "god" is the one demanding sacrifices in his name; that he is the one that kills hundreds of thousands of people on a whim, that this "god" is the one that is truly the "god of lies"

today thought our ancestors were "sinners" but in all truth they are the
ones who personally KNEW The Real Goetic Gods. (if the history of what i

use all the contradictions and similarities that can be found throughout
that load of shit. Some really great examples are:

3) The bible talks of all kinds of "unspeakable" horrors that Lucifer/Satan
is capable of, how he demands sacrifices, how he kills unjustly, how he is
the "god of lies," etc...
Have her go through the bible, or you go through with her, and find all the
passages you can that show examples of this. You will find that in all of
them the christian "god" is the one demanding sacrifices in his name; that
he is the one that kills hundreds of thousands of people on a whim, that
this "god" is the one that is truly the "god of lies"
