well it matter is she just crazy all about being a catholic or if she just goes along with it because if she isnt all crazy about it you have a safe bet that she wont mind but she will most likely try and get you to go to church more often, or ground you maybe, just pretty much matters on how much she cares about her religion

If your mum is a catholic, i wouldn't tell her. The JoS States that if telling someone about your beliefs will conflict with your relationship with said person, don't say anything. Those words apply to your situation.

Tell her that you are an Ancient Pagan, if she automatically attributes Satan to a red horned monster. Also in the JoS site it is explained about the Eastern origins of Satanism so you can also tell her that you are a Hindu, though not a mainstream one

Don't tell her, keep it to yourself. Satanism is about empowering your soul, not about showing off. Once you have reached an advanced enough level, you can manipulate and control your mother on a mental level. That is, by the power of your thoughts alone.

When I was 16, I pretty much told my parents that while I didn't believe in Jesus or any of that, I believe in my God, whom I believe to be the Creator of all things, and the bringer of knowledge. Which is the honest truth.

I just didn't say my God is portrayed as the Devil in her religion.
