How to live as an immortal god

So comleting the Magnus Opus means one will live forever.
I'm not a great fan of Twilight but there was a point in the story when people started to realize that the Cullens (vampires) just don't seem to age so they had to find another place to live.
This moment of the film makes me wonder if we'll have to do like that too. How do we manage not to draw unwanted attention? Can the aura be programmed to protect us from others' noticing us?

Knowing that xianity is in it's last days this question might become irrelevant in a few years but I'm still curious how people in the past managed not being noticed?

I have a lot of problems with that too. Strangers are always being drawn to me and asking me awkward things I guess its just part of being different.

My thoughts are that one can program their aura and soul to not be noticed by people, but not be so unnoticed that you are unable to get basic needs and services met in the hospital, store, dentist, at the doctor, etc.
If people ask how you keep looking so young just say you do yoga, meditation, sleep enough and eat well lol that should work.
I can only express my thoughts on this, I am also curious to know (not that anyone would answer here lol) how people in the past who finished the Magnum Opus went unnoticed for long periods of time and avoided suspicion from people.

If I'm not mistaken, you could also use Aether/Quintessence to 'make you invisible' - that is not actual invisibility, but to make you less noticeable. Black colour/light also conceals. Black light is the color of the Aether/Quintessence, similar to the black lights of yesteryear.

P.S. The world was less-populated in history, so Immortals could have lived remotely, and I'd like to think they'd use real-life versions of what they did in Harry Potter and use gloomy, eerie, fearful energies and thoughforms to stop prying eyes and visitors noticing and visiting. They could collect dark energies from graveyards and places of mass murder and war/hangings/other to be placed around them to keep the christians away.
