how my dedication went

So i finally dedicated!   Due to my environment finding the time to dedicate proved quite hard.  I live in dorms and candles and inscence are prohibited.  I decided to do my ritual on the day of the Sun and the hour of the Sun(past 2:05pm) as shown by Chronos XP.  I checked for void of course and any retrograde planets.  I bought a black stand up candle and a glass container to put it in.  I also bought frankincense incense from india.  I wrote out my dedication the night before and even said it (used my birthname which is not a name i go by legally and most don't even know of it).  Also, finding a dry pen seemed hard as well.  So i opted to just use anything that would work to write with my blood( even had an accidental testing of it when i cut myself the night before trying to take a shaving razor apart).  I knew i couldn't dedicate in my residence so i went up into the mountains/forest to a clearing i often go to just to be with nature.  There was a spot that showed evidence of other burning.  I was in a black t-shirt, black shorts and black compression shorts, as well as black Vibram 5 finger shoes.  I set everything up on this huge rock and went through the procedures.  Some intersting things to note.  As soon as i lit the paper i heard a very loud bird squack a couple times.  It actually startled me because it was the first time i heard it in the forest.  I heard it again when i sat down to ponder if you will after the dedication.   I saw emails about this before but on the JOS sight it does not specify what to do with the ashes.  I left them in the lid of a red/black circular grill lid that was left in this clearing( i used this b/c i didn't want to take the chance of burning the forest down since it did not rain in a while).  On my walk back i ran into a black bear and i also saw some really pretty blue feathered birds.   One thing i have noticed since is that people are talking to me more than normal...and randomly.  Haven't had any meetings with my GD or anything yet either.  I also don't think i'll be able to do many rituals considering where i am.    This was the best dedication i could come up with considering my circumstances and also that i was wanting to get it done sooner than later.   If anyone sees a problem with how i went about it let me know please.  Right now i'm continueing my reasearch in JOS(sermons, exposing christianity, meditations, etc)... I'm also reading Bardons book on Initiation into Hermetics as suggested by HP Maxine.    Also, wanted to let everyone know that i am in the military and have been for 5 yrs, have been to Iraq as well.  Now i'm in school training to be an officer.    Hail Satan!

First and foremost, thank you for your military service. Good luck in Officer school and stay safe during your time in the military.

Secondly, congrats and welcome to the family. You are doing the right thing by learning and advancing yourself.

Don't worry too much about how your dedication went. I was only able to get enough blood for a fingerprint. It is what is in your heart that truly matters.

I have been dedicated over a year and still have not found my GD yet. That is probably due to me trying to make certain I have opened my third eye and astral hearing centers properly so I can hear or see once I do ask about my GD. I have a tendency to go slowly and concentrate on one at a time so it takes me a bit longer.

Some people exprience things right away, others it may take a bit longer. Just remember to keep working on yourself and look for the little signs that you may be sent.
