how does the Breath of Fire improve breathing, and does it help with forms of asthma?

I've never gotten a full diagnosis on what kind of asthma or what the cause is, but I've had it since middle school, and it's mostly triggered by activity. I was hoping this would help me out spiritually but also with the breathing, because I have trouble working out due to it (and I feel we're approaching a time where being fit is important). But it's breathing, it's just quick breathing, and it's not much breathing..and I have no idea if or how it'll help.

"Life is in the breath," that's why I have started doing it anyways.

I have Reactive Airway Disease from inhaling forest fire smoke, very similar to asthma. I use Breath of Fire when my inhaler just isn't providing enough relief. I would recommend it. There are YouTube vids on technique.

Can the Ritual of Lord Asclepius help here, yes?
Sure it can, and it needs something physical to go along with it. For most people under normal circumstances, the breath of fire breathing technique will do wonders.

i'm going to continue it, but still curious how just a bit of breathing, then holding breath in that pose is...helping.

These are Mysteries and Divine Knowledge from the Gods.
But these are rooted in Science, like everything in the Occult and in Spirituality.

One can study it and try to find out more.

But still, it's fully effective.

Breath of fire is a form of controlled hyperventilation which is used to generate heat and energy.
Try the humming breath instead and pause for as long as comfortable at the end.

Dyspnea itself can be caused by an imbalance in gas exchange from overbeathing.
By gently elevating the CO2 levels in your blood for at least 10 minutes or so, the CO2 can cross the blood brain barrier, thereby "resetting" the medulla oblongata (regulates breathing) and calm your breathing down, and allow you to actually feel satiated by your inhalations.

That's the basis of how the Buteyko method treats Asthma. CO2 itself also has vasodilation and nerve calming effects. It's basically a jewish lie that it's a waste product of respiration.

I hope to someday understand. "It's a mystery" is just a nice way to say "keep looking into it," to me.

but i hope it works and i'll give it..time. it takes time. it cannot be rushed. but i WANT it to work and i hope that's okay (it's an expectation i guess, expectations are wrong sometimes)

It's clearing congestion from your bronchial tubes and calming their spasms.

Astma is a form of dampness, same as other forms of congestion. The airways are swollen/congested, causing difficulty breathing.

This can be seen as a form of harmful Yin build up in the lungs and airways.

The breath of fire technique generates Yang energy, which burns up the poisonous Yin and purifies it, clearing/evaporating the dampness and opening the congested airways over time.

I believe this is a big part of the underlying principle and why it works to heal astma.

Smoke damage to the lungs is also in the form of Yin poisoning, the resulting shortness of breath and tightening of airways that long term smokers experience is very similar to astma is that regard, and can be cleared out too with natural breath of fire, but smoke damage causes dryness as well, so you would need to use both dampness and fire to heal the lungs, to evaporate and clear the toxins and tar that have build up in the lungs in that case.

The latter is often why long term smokers experience some relief when they switch to vaping from smoking, because the vape is very damp and wet, helping in the short term to clear out some tar and toxins, but it is not a cure.

If this is the case with Asthma Holy Guardian Sir, can you please enlighten us to what causes bronchitis than? The Asthma makes sense but is it due to dryness than? It's related to Neptune, which is water so that would be my shot in the dark; but it also doesn't feel like I'm right either.

Being defiance in something seems to cause either excess or lack their off but I can't tell on how they would react. Especially with such illness like sojourns existing; which causes dry mouth and lungs due to the immune system attacking itself. Of course hyper sensitivity is always paired with Neptune but how the elements here would work: or there cure, is well beyond me.

Apologizes if overly complicated.

that's a lot of good info. but the Yin and Yang in this case is unrelated to other Yin and Yang imbalances/deficiencies, right? (I know of another problem within myself that needs fixing of Yin and Yang, i don't want to connect the two willy-nilly)

i'll continue. and the info you posted makes sense, thank you
