Hey! O:
I'd like to ask this... Since it's already been discussed how meat is good for us, and a general talk about food has been covered, I'd like to ask if the amount of water we need, or at least they tell us we need (8 glasses a day), is valid.

I'd like to start a healthy eating lifestyle but ever since I read here that fruits are not the most important food for us... Well, I'm sort of questioning everything. :p

I'd like to make a "diet" (as in, eating healthy) that would even help me with the meditations (it would cleanse my physical body, in a way :) ).
So yeah, any information will be greatly appreciated. :)

I'm not sure that any fixed amount is correct. Different people are different sizes and have different requirements. One thing I noticed though, I used to have headaches all the time, until I realised that 99% of them were caused by minor dehydration. Now my body knows exactly when I should drink and I feel it if I don't drink. It's really a matter of being in tune with your body - this of course becomes easier as you advance.
But most of all don't stress too much about it :)
Keep questioning - it's what it's all about. The general consensus on here seems to be find the diet that suits you, it is probably different for everybody.

Distil your water with a counter top distiler. Then you can try putting a pinch of organic, stone ground himalayan salt to the water. To remineralize it. As distilled water is sterile and void of nomral minerals water from the spring would carry. It puts conductivity back into the water. People have been cured of all kinds of illness by drinking such water. The book "The Water Cure." Goes into this.

Hp Don, can you please tell me the author of that book, please? I am looking on Amazon.com but there seems to be several books with similar titles. Thanks.

In my experience I see that water is very important and if you want to clean yourself you have to drink around 2 liters water per day.
Of course this is individual, some people sweat more than others, however water is important.
Be careful of Fluoride amount in waters; some mineral waters have a very low amount of Fluoride in it and you can read this on the label. Too much Fluoride can block the pineal gland.

I've been looking into distilling water because of all the shit in the tap. Fluoride, Chlorine, who-knows...

I thought it would be a good idea for people to look into these sorts of systems for their own use. To Distill water, have it be pure.

I guess adding some salt back into 100% pure distilled water makes sense, though...

Does anyone know if "Kangen" water is good? My roommate has a filtration system with 3 pre filters and the unit. He says it puts minerals back in as well as gives it a 9.5 ph. Says there is a chloride and a floride filter but hes no SS.

hi,

thought I might add my 2 cents..

This information is based on a biological scientists information (non mainstream).
no natural waters are distilled (ie, deionised) Distilled water will pull ions from your body because water tries to reach a state of being ionised. It would be difficult to achieve and hold a negative charge (voltage) in distilled water. Water that is ionised (eg. river water that is fast flowing, spring or groundwater) is the best at holding a negative charge.
I certainly would not drink distilled water.

I too thought that distilled water was beneficial but it's like eating food with out any nutrition or negative elements to it (eating a plain object without any benefits).

Unfortunately the water supplied in supermarkets and most places are full of fluoride and many other terrible components, not including the poison you can get from drinking it through a plastic water bottle (buy BPA free).

Unfortunately fluoride is in most toothpastes as well, stupid enough it was originally uranium.

Should also stay away from most processed foods and vegetables as the chemicals in them are highly dangerous, that's why I am trying to convert my eating to organic foods, the trick is to make organic foods tasty, getting over the sugar addiction can be tough but will be life changing.

I highly recommend you check out his website, totally natural probiotics and amazing information in his blogs about environmental benefits and good gut biology both for humans and pets.

Is not mainstream and I have been using his probiotics for a while now.

Hey!

lol

Thanks!!

Note: You *are* saying to DISTILL the water, right?

I've been looking into distilling water because of all the shit in the tap. Fluoride, Chlorine, who-knows...

I thought it would be a good idea for people to look into these sorts of systems for their own use. To Distill water, have it be pure.

I guess adding some salt back into 100% pure distilled water makes sense, though...
