Hello. :)I'd like to ask something, weird perhaps...

I suddenly remembered the myth of Heracles and how Hera had sent two snakes in his crib when he was a baby in order to kill him, but Heracles strangled both snakes... I know that the myths are allegorical etc, but how could strangling snakes be any good to us? Knowing that snakes were always a sacred symbol etc (no wonder), what could the meaning be behind Heracles strangling two snakes?
This is just a random question that came to my mind; I'd appreciate it if anyone knew anything about this. :)

For all we know it was twistiest by someone. If i had to guess though um.... maybe it mean he conquered there kundalini ,meaning there powers. So it was something like they send death energy or somthing and he repled it. I came to this only because our powers and transformation is rooted in the kundalini. XD gonna laugh if some how im right.

Well this might not help and also this is just in my opinion so sorry if this does not answer your question....  All the old tales tell us more than just spiritual allegories, they also serve as archetypes and ideals to live our lives. Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung talked about this (and also Miguel Serrano to a certain extent)  You might take something like Odin being killed at ragnarok by Fenrir or Thor killing the serpent Jörmungandr as negative but in truth these tails hold a very important meaning.  I recommend you check out some of Campbell or Jungs work (particularly Campbells 'A Hero With A Thousand Faces') and also David lane and Ron Mcvans work is interesting in that it explains some myths that might seem quite negative at first but after you understand the concepts you see why the ancients explained it in that way. Some books you might want to look at. Temple of Wotan: https://ia902607.us.archive.org/35/item ... -mcvan.pdf Creed of iron: https://ia802701.us.archive.org/30/item ... OfIron.pdf  Hitler: The Ultament avatar http://naziarchive.weebly.com/uploads/2 ... avatar.pdf  Agian sorry if this does not awnser your question.

@Yog don't ask sorry and thanks a lot for the links! :D (I will look into them... most likely after we finish with the ritual LOL because it makes my day full :O )

Well, Hellenic myths have still not be fully hm... explained I guess? Although there are countless posts of HP Don Danko and even HP Maxine and HP HoodedCobra in which they *do* explain many things... well, mythology is just a vast chaos of stories, so it's not possible to have answers to all of them right now. :)
Anyway, thanks again for the replies. :)
