Hand signs

[windyd09]

I was watching the VMAs and I saw a lot of people making a sign with their hands in a triangle. Anybody know what that is supposed to be about? Thanks

the triangle is synonymous with many things. mainly it it symbolizes gender(up 4 male n down for female) idk how they were using it but in a general term it cld b for the religious trinity of xtianity. who noz.

It has something to do with Jay-Z, it's called a diamond cutter. I'm not really sure what it's about, but I think it has something to do with promoting his album, or something. I think it's meaningless, like the peace sign. People who flash the peace sign, they don't really think about it.

I don't think it's called the diamond cutter as you put it, but it's rather a masonic thing. It's basically representative of the all-seeing eye. Notice how they always put it right over their eye. I wouldn't doubt that Jay-Z is a freemason and his 3 red stripes logo may be also representing the tribe of Dan. Red is especially the color of that tribe.

I heard the hippy peace sign in a circle was made by somebody long ago, it symbolises an inverted cross with the arms snapped to blaspheme jehovah.
It means the world would be alot more peaceful without xianity.

I know this is old, but let me answer the question...

The "triangle" is usually put over the left eye of the person throwing it up. That's supposed to represent the all-seeing-eye. Example: Look on the back of your one-dollar bill. It's a well-known Freemason symbol. It's also a Satanic symbol.
