I was wondering if anybody owns this/ has any words as to where its' validity lies.

I recently purchased a copy via Amazon and am awaiting its' shipment to my home. Other than what I read at the JoS website, I also have a healthy curiousity for "ancient grimoires," (in quotes as the validity of these ancient grimoires is disputable.) and have recently taken to collecting them.

I have read that there are passages in it involving the names of Demons/ making them obedient (which I of course will avoid out of respect for Father and those who serve Him) along with many other things such as "For protection against firearms," and (this one made me laugh) "to stop a carriage or cart."

Here's the link:

An update:

The Grimoire recently arrived in the mail and after perusing its contents I have come to the conclusion that much of its ceremonies/ rituals involve bloodwork/ skinning goats and whatnot...it also seems to heavily focus on dominating Demons/ bending Lucifer, Beelzebub, and Astaroth to your will. It praises Jehova and in many passages has you invoke his name in order to command demons/ spirits.

It supposedly comes from The Key of Solomon, who was rumored to control Demons. All and all, not for me. It's a shame. I was hoping for something more interesting, though some of the rituals do involve NOT invoking Jehovas name, they still require me to skin a goat. Seeing as I live in the OC, goat-skinning is something that would probably bring attention to me.
