finding my gardian demon

i have recently done the dedication ritual and it felt like a huge weight had been liffted from my shoulders. but i could feel i still need to find my gardian demon so i looke it up on jos and it said to use a pendulum or a uiji board soo i cant buy one without arising suspitionfrom my parents sooo.. how can i make a pendalum/uiji board and how do they each work?
