Feeling of spiritual cleaning and growth

This is from an old comment I made, but it's important to understand so I'm copying it here for more people to see. Somebody basically asked "I'm doing all these works to clean out my soul and it was feeling like a great improvement for the first several days, but then all the problems suddenly came back all at once and I felt worse than before. What's happening?!"

This was my answer:

I've experienced things like this, it's part of the growth. Basically there have been bad emotions locked deep into your soul, kind of folded inside in another dimension in a way that you don't really feel or experience, but it is still there subconsciously. As you grow and improve, all of this negativity is being pulled out of you. So first it sort of "unfolds and unlocks" out of the deep way that it was locked in in your soul, which feels like there's suddenly this huge pile of negativity on top of you even worse than before. But once that negativity is gathered up into a big ball, it is then transformed into goodness and you make a really big jump in improvement.

I guess the best way I can explain it is like groundwater. Every moment of being depressed is pouring negativity into the person's soul just like pouring water into the ground. During this time, they don't see what water is already in the ground, just what they are currently pouring. When the depression stops, you aren't pouring anymore water, the ground surface is dry, it looks like everything is fine. But all that water that soaked in is still down there locked away, you just aren't connected to it in a way to feel it anymore. So when you do a work to fix this and remove all that negativity out of you, it first dries the surface of the ground, but then it starts pumping every drop that got spilled back up and out, so suddenly you're in the middle of a big lake wondering "Where did all this come from? The ground was just drying up the last few days!" Then there are 2 things that could happen, either it all simply flows away and separates from you or you can transform it into a new type of energy which is now positive and helping you, either way the negativity is all gone now. The soul/ground is cleaned up inside. This is all just a normal part of the process of cleaning and improving. And I just realized, the physical body is the Earth element and the emotional energy of depression is the Water element, so this description truly is exactly what is happening. Thank you for asking this question, this is something that all of us experience and if we don't know what is happening it could discourage us, but it's a normal part of healing and growing.

This is really relatable to what happend to me.

When i first came to SS I was at worst point in my life. in the beginning i was pretty hyped about becoming spiritual and doing all the things that i read about on the joyofSatan site. after a week or so i got lets say a big hit in my face of emotions and things like that. at the moment i didnt know what was happening mainly because i could not really feel my feeling i lived in slurr for years so that what happend was new to me. I couldnt handle anything and i stopped meditating, for over half a year i barely meditated but i still held on and came to the joS site to learn every now and then.

Now for the past week i have been verry actively meditating and doing yoga and i feel better than i ever have and it doesnt show any sign of changing into a different feeling. all the things that happend and feeling that i suppressed came up and now that i have come to understand them i could handle them. i think that this is one of the big problems people are having, that they do not understand their feelings or that they dont want to understand their feelings. it is a really hard thing to overcome this obstacle and move further. But if i can do it anyone can do it.

I am very gratefull of my guardian demoness even tough i dont know who my guardian is yet she has helped me tremendously.

This happens to everybody here who starts to actively grow. The problem is when they don't know what's happening and it makes them discouraged. They can easily be overwhelmed or think that it is some kind of curse against them that they can't fix. This has made a lot of people stop with their meditations, then the longer they stop for it can make it harder to start again. But if they know what's actually happening and that it is a natural part of healing and growing, they can get past it and continue to grow.

Oddly enough starting the venus Square for a relationship bought up a bunch of feelings and hang ups and stuff I had in my mind both from this life and the last one and who knows when else. So I had something traumatic happen at some point and thats why I was never able to have a relationship till recently and never happy in any relationships. I mean i always longed for one though. I was about to quit it cause I thought the enemy was attacking me and it was a bad idea or I was doing it wrong. I think you just feel through this stuff and clean it out right with sun energy or is there a better way.

I guess ill continue the square I do admit I feel more free getting those energies out but its not pleasant.

I had the same thing happen with xtian energies awhile back when using the freeing the soul meditation.

Actually no that is from doing a sun square to cleanse the soul sorry. I forgot to mention that. I was doing the spiritual square with the affirmation and intent to cleanse my soul. The venus square just caused it to bring up those issues but some other wierd stuff is coming to the surface too. I thought of that. I am on week 2 in the sun square. That is really good. I will continue. Its a little rough but I am grateful you explained it. A lot of wierd thinking comes to the surface too. During this process practice void. I am doing something like the returning curses thing as often as needed as well to clear that energy.

Oh Dark Monkey I know what you mean, I used to be "addicted" to doing those Venus squares. But I can't do them anymore because I already did way too many of them. :shock: That's another lesson about planet squares, they keep getting more stronger after you're done doing them, so you might not want to do a million of them after you already know you don't need any more. Maybe it will end up being a good thing. It's not really bad, but I can't describe it either. It could work. People are meant to have much more to their soul than just solid Venus taking everything over, but it's like I'm used to it because I was the same way in all my past lives too. I don't know if that makes it better or worse or if it's both, but this is who I've always been forever so can't change it now.

I started that Sun square two weeks ago too. I think that is helping.

Well thats why I think you would want to use Material Squares after you fix the spiritual issues only for things you want. My venus is unaspected so I am not sure how a spiritual square can help anything anyways. So I never did that But Material I can probably use it to attract what I want and I feel absolute certain that I am attracting someone very soon but as to fully being happy I am not sure cause of that problem in my chart I may just always have some dream of a perfect person etc and want to keep searching forever but improvement I could go for. I think I could settle down if I met someone that has intrests similar to mine and is at least somewhat compatable in other aspects and was serious about advancement spiritual and otherwise much of the last problems was cause I dont like wasting time on boring stuff and not having similar goals etc

The biggest issue for me is the partners I am with in the past were not interested in anything I was they didnt even want to team up with me and find new intrests we could both be from plus they either were not spiritual or claimed to be and never did anything. Talamud vision or drugs or other dumb crap was more important than maybe getting out and doing something outside or going traveling or anything else that could be remotely interesting.

I know it’s probably individual, but in general, how many times would you recommend doing a particular planetary square? I’ve done the Saturn & Jupiter squares 3 times and the Mars square twice. I’m now working on the Sun square.

I don't know. Saturn square isn't even recommended to do anymore so not that. Sun square is a good idea.

I dont know. I think with Saturn square maybe people misunderstood the point of it. It seems to me partly by intuition that there would be or was supposed to be a lot more to it than Just raising the energy and doing the square. As in sublimating the energy it of course brings negative things to the surface for some and this can even lead to negativee events to be dealt with that can be cleansed and somehow the energy turned positive. Somehow the person is supposed to transmute this energy into positive. There has to be some other meditation mantra visualization yoga session or something that went with this in the ancient times is my thought.

I would think Jupiter Square do as many times as you feel you need and you can always do material after you get the spiritual worked out when you need something material related to Jupiter.

Saturn I dont know it depends on how you reacted and what your goals are. I know its not recommended but I also feel there is some knowledge about it not yet revealed something missing so experement if you like but if something bad happens stop.
