Detecting Trolls

One of the things that I've noticed quite a bit is messages that seem like they hold the possibility of being outright fraudulent. That is to say that I feel that there are a lot more people in this group than should truly belong here.

The hardest thing to do when analyzing the topics/ messages is verify a "member's" candor. Does (s)he really need help with whatever they're doing? Are they proposing group attacks on the right targets?

Or are they asking for assistance to take down that which is beneficial to our cause? Or perhaps they seek to rile us by posting questions that serve as insults.

It's hard to say, with all the lies and misinformation that surround us, whether these people are malevolent, or merely ignorant.

Any thoughts from my Brethren? I consider myself to be well-educated (by my own doing) and well-read, and would assume that my Brethren are likely the same.

i agree with most of your observations but the problem is not that theyre trolls, its that there are a lot of ppl in this group that are just really inexperienced and either dont retain the knowledge from JOS or are just too lazy to go read it. thats the majority of stupid questions on here that could easily be completely taken care of if ppl would just GO READ THE INFO ON www.joyofsatan.com as for the group attacks, theyre just the misguided attempts of some of the not so knowledgeable brethren that are here. i dont mean to insult anyone, and i do believe that if EVERYONE in this group would take a the time to read thru the material at least once it would solve many probs here.
