Dedication Ritual Questions

OK, I did the ritual. My only question is, the blood wasn't nearly enough to right my name in, there was just about 5 spots on the paper with my blood on it. Would it still be valid?
That, and the candle was a red candle in an apple holder, don't ask, my only red one, so would that hurt it?

I would say it's pretty much valid.

Yes, it would still be valid. The amount of blood doesn't matter, it is what is in your heart that matters.
