dedication..? and satanism culture..?

i did the dedication ritual, but i only got a minimal amount of blood and it was from the side of my finger, does this still count?..
and also (stupid question) does it matter how you look once you are a satanist.. e.g. clothing, skin tone, hair etc.. im jus a lil bit confused with that.. all answers will be useful..

Yes, your dedication is valid and perfectly acceptable.

Dress, do your hair, etc., however you wish. There are no rules in Satanism. Whatever your personal taste is, that's perfectly fine. As for skin tone, it's something you're born with; we are what we are; dark, light, and all shades in between. Also, obviously, no problem.

And questions from newbies aren't stupid. If someone has been a dedicated Spiritual Satanist for 5 years or so and are still asking similar questions, then it's an indication that you are not taking time to study and learn. But when you're new it's different.

Do try to read everything on the JoS site for starters. It'll take some time because the site is huge & can be intimidating because of its size, but just take it bit by bit.

1st off, asking questions is never stupid, this shows you have a craving for knowledge and that's what Satanism is about. Don't worry, your dedication still counts, Father Satan isn't conserned with massive amounts of blood (like the xian fairy tales tell you) it's about DNA. You don't have to do anything that you don't want to, so if you want to, go right ahead.

There's no "Satanism culture", because Satanism is a religion of independance and following your own nature. You aren't supposed to look like or listen to something specific somehow in order to be classified as a Satanist.

There are some poser Laveyans that wear all black, listen to black metal and say "Ave Satanas" all the time, but those aren't Satanists, they don't believe Satan is real.

We wouldn't be different than xians who conform to stupid rules if we did that.
