Dedicated Last Night

Hello everyone, just dedicated myself last night and hopefully all went well. I had written out the prayer beforehand so i could wait till everyone went to sleep to perform the ritual and unfortunately had very little to work with. Instead of a dry fountain pen, all I had available was a dried up old ballpoint pen, or at least it WAS dried up. Anyway, when it came time i lit the only candle I had, a small red one, and attempted to get some blood for the signature. Very little managed to get on the paper other than a small stroke of a letter or two and, funny enough, the pen i thought wasn't working and tested previously started working again. Then, to top things off, i had forgotten to read it before burning it So i ended up reciting it strait from the JOS website while the written one laid burning in a bowl. Hope that sufficed, would hate to think I messed it up like that, LOL. Anyway, starting out on my Power Meditations which is going to be rather difficult for me. My mind is usually everywhere at once so I've got a long way to go with concentration first but not going to give up on myself easily.

Don't wry I was the same way. I thought I did it wrong too
But nothing is perfect don't wry. I found it hard to meditate as well customer I am a Gemini and our minds are everywhere. But after a while you are. Going to get it as your body and mind start to adorable to it!trust me!! Your soul will be transforming. When you feel you are losing ur focus and your mind strays simply breath and bring it back to what u were meditating on. You will be fine. I'm proud of u LOL but.for.now work on also your meditations for protection and on your chakras if you have any problems we as ur brothers and sisters are here for u!

Thank you, i will certainly give it my best. The only issue i have is the fact i have little to no privacy in this house during the day, mixed with College classes that i have during the mid to late afternoon till night time. So realistically the only times i really have the house quiet and to myself is after 3AM. Therefore, i do attempt to do the everyday void meditation where you just focus on the here and now for a set time, usually when i'm driving to and from the college. That way i can at least practice silencing unwanted thoughts while i wait for my private time. As for chakras, i am currently on day 3 of opening the third eye, so i'll just continue on from there when able.
