Debating Christians

I thought I would share a few "techniques" I use when arguing with Christians and Atheists on the forums. I've done it enough now that I don't let them ever get the best of me, and here are a few tips:
1) make them stick to the argument; they are good at answering your question by asking another one—don't let them; repeat the question, say "that's nice but not what I asked" and repeat
2) do not allow them to anger you—or at least don't show it. They will suck you into verbal mud-slinging, and you'll look as bad as them, unless you stay calm and just answer their question intelligently and persistently
3) fight them with their own bible verses! Or turn things around—like I said once "oh your God is so merciful—he hates humans so much he drowned nearly all of them and then said "but here's a rainbow, sorry about that"—they HATE when you turn their own bible against them
4) answer only what you want to—you don't have to address everything they write about
5) be clear, concise, calm, and right! And don't attack them personally, even if they do--and they will
6) the most important thing is don't let them suck you into a fight, just say what you think the more intelligent people will understand, and then if you get tired of them saying how "deceived" you are or worse, you can always say, "this is all I have to say—goodbye"—always depart gracefully, and intelligently, and you will be the winner. Intelligent people DO read those forums, so impress them with your intelligence and grace
It is hard to have to fight these idiots and hear them tell you that our wonderful God, Satan, is evil and a liar—but even if you just write a post or two, to "correct" them, you will be letting them know that there IS a different opinion out there about Satan. They need to hear as many Spiritual Satanist opinions as possible. Good luck!
