Good point Goodemon, but I think it's a little different.

The concept of a `chakra' has never been proven to be anything but a
spiritual concept and, I agree that the spiritual can indeed affect the
physical. It's along the lines of Yogi's who can stp their hearts through
meditation or how Reiki healing works. In a sense, I could easily see how
living a mystical lifestyle could affect the physical aspects of cybernetics
because, ultimately, the body is largely controlled by the spirit. But I
don't believe something as simple as a physical modification could affect
the spirit. The body is dependent on the spiritual but the spirit is not
  dependent on the body.

I'm no expert or anything but if by working on your chakras you affect the
body the same is true if you affect the body you affect the chakras-just
look at maxine and others who do martial arts-a caution please-when working
with science please keep the spirit in mind because one does affect the
  other-remember the greys.

I'm part of the Transhumanist movement
   (
http://humanityplus.org/learn). We believe that the human body, our
reactions, our functioning, and our immunology, can all be made better
through the use of advanced technologies; some of which haven't even
been invented yet. There's so much research and development going
into biotechnology, nanotechnology, and genetic engineering, that it
boggles the mind and I personally believe we're going to see lifespans
of well over 100 years in the very near future through these life
   extension technologies.

That said, I don't think these technologies effect our higher or
mystical selves at all. Our higher consciousness (or soul, if you
will) operates within but separate our physical bodies within
vibrational frequencies that are wholly different than that of our
bodies. Integrating technology into our bodies wouldn't make *any*
difference to or have any impact on our higher selves.

For some time now i have been pondering the inevitable advances of our
technology in the fields of cybernetics and GE. now what i have been
thinking is how will these affect us as satanist and how will these impact
  our abilities in the supernatural?
Genetic Engineering doesn't much worry me, since we do believe that we
are GE creations, and since most of the advances we make in it would or
could some day naturally occur within our species through evolution (we
would just simply be doing it on a much faster and larger scale).
what really worries me is cybernetics. if we start incorporating
machines into our bodies (excluding machines that mimic red and white blood
cells, and platelets) and possibly even replacing organs and tissues with
machines, how would this effect our souls and chakras and other
  supernaturals?
