I want to start my own business in the near future and make a lot of money from it. I need to know fundamentals of business. Also I want to fully automatize it so I don't really immerse myself in it. What would you recommend me to read ? Thanks in advance 😊

I advise against starting a business unless you have lots of capital and experience as most of the time it will fail.

I used to buy semi-decent websites, improve them, scale them and sell them.
There are many opportunities online. For example if you find a good content creator on youtube that has no business sense, you can buy the channel, grow it, then sell.

You can also play the middleman game. Look for a niche that is underperforming. Make a system (eg. a website or app or youtube channel) for that niche that will funnel clients to the businesses . Ideally the clients will pay you and then you'll pay the business. This is the ebay, airbnb, uber, amazon model.
You could try to first make a referral system and later switch it to middleman system.

When buying a business, avoid paying for the revenue or the profits. Only buy the underlying assets at current market value minus some safety margin (about 10 to 30 % to account for haggling and other costs). The current business owner may become your employee or partner. Better keep them around initially unless you have experience in the niche. Avoid giving him/her shares as they can become a pain to deal with later on.

Don't try to do everything yourself. You want to hire experts for everything. For example when improving a website, I'd do the back end stuff as I'm an expert in that and I wouldn't trust someone else to do it. The backend is invisible and all kinds of sneaky stuff could happen. For example a backend engineer could detour 10% of every sale to their own account or redirect some users to his/her own website. Front end stuff I'd hire a front end expert. Sales and promotion? Another expert. Taxes? Another expert. Other countries laws? Another expert.

Once you have lots of capital and experience, you can start playing the monopoly game. Look for a niche that doesn't have many competitors, buy everyone in that niche, consolidate, reduce costs and increase prices.
