Black Cat on back porch

Hello brothers and sisters,
So earlier I had an occurrence with a black cat that was randomly on my porch this late morning. It came to my back sliding doors, its a clear window pane and I was half-clothed.
It stopped and looked at me with it's golden or yellow eyes when it saw me, it did not hiss. He/she instead bowed her head down and even layed down briefly.
Shortly it got back up and kept making eye contact with me and then was trying to hint at getting in.

Am I reading into this being a sign or symbolism of sorts?
Is this a potential familiar? A sign from the Gods? Is it my GD trying to communicate with me?
I typically know that black cats are associated with many positive things in our culture, and I just wanted to get clarity.

They are not around at the moment, but I thought the moment was more than a coincidence, and would love to know what to think.

If you prayed to the Gods or performed a ritual, it could be a sign. Are cats common strays in your area? Please do check whether it has a home.

I did make a prayer the other morning, it wasn't a full on ritual but it was an acknowledgement and I did ask for them to give me guidance and signs of such.
Strays are not common, it could also be the next door neighbor's cat although I did not notice a collar, it appeared clean not feral like.
But it approached me as if it were mine and wanted to enter my household, and it acknowledged me.
